The legends are organized alphabetically according to locales from Alabama to Wyoming with three additional tales relating to Canadian tribes. 11 full color plates and numerous black and white drawings. Indian Legends: Grand Canyon Spirit Trail to the World Beyond; Mount Shasta the Home of the One Who Made the World; Crater Lake Shores Where Good Fought and Overcame Evil, Raven's Theft from Beaver formed the Rivers of British Columbia, and more.
